About Us

About Us

We've been working with people in the Indianapolis area since 1987. Most of our clients have been with us for years, some for decades. That kind of longevity doesn't happen by accident. It happens when you show up, do the work, and treat people like people.

How We Work

How We Work

Financial planning shouldn't feel formal or intimidating. We don't show up in suits trying to impress you with jargon. We're regular people who happen to know a lot about money, and we'd rather have real conversations than scripted presentations. When you meet with us, you'll get honesty and full disclosure. We'll tell you what makes sense, what doesn't, and why. That's the foundation of how we work with everyone.

Why Independence Matters

Why Independence Matters

Being independent means we're not tied to any bank, brokerage, or product line. We're not here to sell you something; we get a bonus for pushing. We're here to help you make good decisions with your money. That independence is how we can actually put your interests first. It's not just a philosophy for us. It's the entire point.

The Long View

The Long View

Many of our clients started working with us years ago and are still here. We've helped them through job changes, market swings, raising kids, retiring, and everything in between. Some of them have brought their own children in to start planning. That's the kind of relationship we're building. Consistency matters. Reliability matters. And after nearly 40 years, we're still here doing the same work for the same reason: to help people.

I've been doing this since 1984. Earned my CFP® in 1987 and my CLU in 1990, but those are just letters. What actually matters is the work: sitting down with people, understanding their lives, and helping them build something secure. I'm a fiduciary, which means I'm legally bound to put my clients' interests first. But honestly, that's just how it should be. These aren't transactions. They're relationships. I know my clients' stories because I've been there for them through decades of life changes, decisions, and everything that comes with building a future. That's what keeps me doing this. Not the planning itself, but the people. Making sure they're taken care of. That's the job.

I grew up in Wabash, a small town in Indiana, where family meant everything. That hasn't changed. My wife Sunali was born in Africa to Indian parents, and together we've raised three kids who've gone on to build their own lives. Natasha and her kids, Elijah and Harper, are here in Fishers. Jasmine is out in Littleton, Colorado, practicing law with her husband, Dillon. And Jesse, who left medical school last year to join me in this work, lives in Noblesville with his wife Nina. I've got two grandkids now, and any time I'm not working, I'm probably with family or trying to get away on vacation.

I spent years working toward becoming a physician. I completed my undergraduate degree at IU Bloomington, studying neuroscience, then earned a master's degree and attended medical school at Marian University. Two years into med school, I realized I was on the wrong path. Leaving wasn't easy, but it was the right call. I joined my father and got my Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, held through LPL Financial, then received my Life and Health (LAH) Insurance License, and finally my CFP® professional designation in 2026.

Working alongside my dad means learning strategies he's developed over nearly 40 years. But what excites me most is that his clients are willing to work with me, too. These are people he's known for decades, and they're trusting me to help them. I want to keep those relationships strong and grow with their families as the next generation starts planning their own futures. Every person has a different story, different goals, different circumstances. That's what makes this work interesting. No one gets a cookie-cutter solution.

I was born and raised here in Fishers. I used to come into this office as a kid with my dad, and now I have my own office in the same building. That's a full circle moment I don't take for granted. I married my wife, Nina, earlier this year. She's a mental health therapist in Noblesville. We bought our first house together and have a rescued dog named Nico, who's basically our first kid.

When I'm not working, I'm outside. Golf, running, yard work, whatever gets me out of the house. I lift weights, do cardio, and I love to cook and grill. That's pretty much it. Work, family, and finding time to be outside.

I've been doing this for 11 years, and my job is to make sure everything actually gets done. That means scheduling appointments, opening accounts, processing rollovers and transfers, handling insurance applications, pulling reports, managing transactions, and dealing with whatever comes up in between. If a client needs something, I'm the one making it happen. I also handle whatever's needed to keep the office running and support the advisors in their work.

I've worked with brilliant people over the years. Doctors, engineers, and people who are experts in their own fields. They'll hand me a stack of account statements, completely flustered because they can't make sense of it. I remind them that if I had to interpret charts or data in their world, I'd be just as lost. That's why we have specialists. Nobody can know everything about everything. The financial world is full of complex rules and tax codes, and the best calls I get are from clients who tell me they don't worry about any of it because they have us.

I got into this industry because my mother-in-law worked as a paraplanner and was moving up in her company. She needed a replacement. I interviewed, and it turned out the work suited my personality really well. I have good attention to detail, which matters more than people realize. I once found a client who hadn't updated his beneficiaries in so long that his ex-wife from over a decade ago was still listed. He was relieved I caught it. This happens all the time, and it's one of those things that can create serious problems if nobody's paying attention.

Working with a lot of retirees means I get extra grandparents. Certain clients will absolutely ask to see pictures of my kids when they stop by. It's a lovely bond. A few years ago, one of my favorite clients passed away. My boss called to tell me, and I started crying in the middle of Costco. That's the reality of this work when you've been doing it long enough. These aren't just accounts. They're people.

I share a passion for music with my husband, so when I'm not working or spending time with our two children and dogs, you can find me writing, recording, and performing in the rock band we formed together over a decade ago. Outside of music, I love gardening, cooking, baking, traveling, decorating for the holidays, bringing magic to my kids' childhoods, reading, and spending time with animals and nature.

I spent seven years in banking before I got into this work. Started at Stock Yards Bank and Trust, doing private banking and commercial lending, where I focused on credit analysis, asset quality, and portfolio management. I was good at it. Good enough that executives noticed and gave me recognition for the work I was doing. Doug was one of my clients back then. He saw what I was doing and asked me to join his team. I got my securities license and made the transition into wealth management.

Now, I'm an LPL Registered Principal here, which means I handle regulatory oversight and compliance in addition to working with clients. People call me a jack of all trades, and I guess that's accurate. My background in banking gave me a different lens on financial planning. I understand credit, risk, and how all the pieces fit together. That analytical foundation helps when I'm working with clients to build strategies that actually make sense for their situation.

I live in Westfield with my husband, our son, and two dogs who have more energy than all of us combined. When I'm not working, I'm making memories with my family and trying to keep up with the busy, joy-filled chaos we've built together.
